Design & Display

  • Colorful design with a matte finish
  • 95" FHD+ IPS display
  • 90Hz Refresh Rate + 180Hz Touch sampling Rate

As usual, Infinix devices don't come with dull designs, and there's a lot to tell about the Note 10 Pro! it comes with a vibrant design with brilliant colours to pick from. What’s more enticing here is the matte finish, which ensures the device doesn’t attract fingerprints.

The Infinix Note 10 Pro has all essential ports and features such as a headphone jack, USB-C, microphone, and speaker grille on the bottom. The right side is where you find the volume buttons and the power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor. On the left, you get the dual-SIM card tray with a dedicated SD card slot, while there’s nothing at the top.

Since this device is called a "Note", you get that large 6.95" display with a centred punch-hole cut-out for the selfie camera. Interestingly, it supports a 90Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. This translates to a more fluid experience while using the device.

The 6.95” display is an LCD panel with FHD+ (1080*2460p) resolution. The Infinix Note 10 Pro’s display is also certified for low blue-light by TÜV Rheinland to ensure you enjoy using the screen with less eye fatigue.

Performance

  • MediaTek Helio G95.
  • Dar-Link Ultimate Game Booster
  • Up to 256GB storage and 8GB RAM
  • UFS 2.2 storage
  • Expandable Storage up to 2T

Performance is where the Infinix Note 10 Pro gets interesting. While Infinix Zero 8 of last year was powerful, Note 10 Pro is even more powerful. Of course, it features the mightiest hardware on any Infinix device.

We’re looking at a MediaTek Helio G95 processor here, and it’s blazing fast. Helio G95 is a gaming-focused processor, which means it can handle all sorts of high-graphics games without frustrating you.

If we’re to look from a stats’ perspective, Helio G95’s GPU is over 120% faster compared to the MediaTek Helio G80 processor used on the Infinix Note 8, and 25% faster than the Snapdragon 7XX-series processors. And in terms of CPU performance, the Helio G95 is over 25% better than the MediaTek Helio G80, and 20% faster than the Snapdragon 7XX-series processors. What all this means is you'll get better performance on the Infinix Note 10 Pro.

Infinix is also generous with the memory on this device. Like, you get a large 8GB of RAM on the Note 10 Pro. Plus, you have an extensive 256GB of inbuilt storage to play with. And like every other Infinix devices, it comes with dedicated external storage support. Yes, you can expand the storage on this device up to 2T!

And unlike its predecessor: Infinix Note 8, the infinix Note 10 Pro features the UFS 2.2 storage technology. This translates to one thing: you get better storage writing and reading speed, which also improves the device’s performance.

Cameras

  • 64MP “Ultra Night Camera”
  • Support for Wide-angle camera
  • 16MP AI Selfie Camera

2020 was when Infinix started using huge megapixels camera on its device, and that continues in 2021. That's just another way of saying the Infinix Note 10 Pro comes with a 64MP Quad-Rear Camera.

On paper, the 64MP primary camera is supported by an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP monochrome lens. Again, Infinix ditched the aged "AI" lens for a monochrome camera, which of course should be a plus if you light taking black and white pictures.

For a reason, Infinix tagged the camera on this device as “Ultra Night Camera”, which connotes you can now take brighter night shots with it, as compared to its predecessor. And since it has a better processor, you cannot but agree with that.

Meanwhile, it's nice to see the addition of an ultra wide lens on this device; this gives you a wider field of view to cram more objects into a picture.

On the front, you get a 16MP AI Selfie Camera, which promises better noise reduction and clearer selfies than its predecessors. In terms of camera features, you also get plenty of them here. These include Short Video, Ultra Night mode, Portrait & Portrait Video, Beauty Mode, Document correction, Slo-Motion, Time-lapse, and many more.

Video recording comes out crisp at 4K 30fps on both the front and rear cameras. Video stabilization is present here as well, but you’ll have to scale down to 1080p.

Battery

  • 5,000mAh battery
  • 33W Safe & Flash Charge
  • Power Marathon Tech.

Infinix devices come with hefty batteries as usual, and it's no exception with the Infinix Note 10 Pro. Besides its power-efficient processor, Infinix managed to pack in a 5,000mAh battery on this device.

And while its predecessor would take a whole lot of time to get recharged, the Infinix Note 10 Pro charges twice as fast, thanks to its 33W Safe & Flash Charger.

In the past, Infinix has announced its Power Marathon technology, which aims to help elongate the battery life by cutting down power usage wherever possible. And now with the new Safe & Flash Charge technology, Infinix assures you can charge your battery faster and safely without worrying about the side-effects of fast charging.

Software & Features

  • Android 11
  • XOS 7.6

Infinix is also progressing in its software prowess, introducing new useful features to improve users' experience in one way or the other. The first thing about the software here is that the Infinix Note 10 Pro boots up with Android 11 out of the box. And on top of that is the latest XOS 7.6 skin by Infinix.

Infinix released XOS 7.0 based on Android 10 last year, which brings a fresh look to the OS. And now, in 2021, XOS 7.6 is here with a whole lot of features. As usual, it comes with the primary Android 11 features such as Scheduled Dark Theme, the new Conversations and Notifications features, and many more.

Meanwhile, on the XOS side of a thing, you get extra features like Kids mode, XClone, X-Proof, Video Assistance, Thunder Back, Theft Alert, and more UI tweaks.

Theft Alert sounds just as it’s called. Have you always turned to a security guard while charging your phone somewhere else just to ensure no one steals it? No! Save that stress for Theft Alert on XOS 7.6. When activated, your phone will ring at the loudest volume when your charger or earphone is unplugged without your conscience. That should save you if anyone tries to loot your phone when any of those accessories are plugged in.

XOS 7.6 comes with other amazing features, which is beyond the length of this article. You’ve got to experience it yourself on the Infinix Note 10 Pro.

Audio

  • Dual Stereo Speakers
  • Cinematic Sounds with DTS

One more thing to look at on the Infinix Note 10 Pro is its sound quality. And yes, you get a stereo speaker setup here. The device combines the single down-firing speaker with another large speaker above the screen to produce a cinematic and immersive sound experience.

Plus, the sounds produced by these stereo speakers are tuned with DTS, which understands what you're listening to and optimizes it for the best audio quality.

Verdict

Sure, Infinix is not what it used to be and it's nice to see how far the company has improved over the years. If you're looking for an affordable Android device that provides a premium feel, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is one of the best you can get today.

The Helio G95 processor, 90Hz fluid display + 180Hz touch sampling rate, 64MP camera, 8 GB of RAM + 256GB of storage, and the 5000mAh battery + 33W flash charge, are what stands out for the Infinix Note 10 Pro.

Formerly, devices with similar specs as the Infinix Note 10 Pro doesn’t come as affordable as this. But here it is, you can enjoy more features for a lesser price on this device. It’s worth your money.
